I’m Zainab, the owner of Knotmuch a brand of Zainab Taher Painter, also known as the weaver of magic knots!

After working for many years in corporate houses, I decided to quit my job and move abroad. During that time is when the pandemic happened and I was idle at home trying to figure out my next step in this chaos. 

From my early  days, I was always interested in decorating home spaces, hence I started to engage myself in homedecor DIYs with help of Youtube and it was then when I was introduced to “Macrame”

Macrame really attracted me and I enjoyed creating art pieces. I started very small by creating plant hangers for my home but soon ran out of space for my initial creations! I then started creating Macrame products for my close friends and family.

After much persuasion from my husband and friends, I started our page on Instagram and that is how Knotmuch a brand of Zainab Taher Painter was born! People loved our Macrame collection and I was instantly flooded with many orders. After receiving glowing reviews for my products, I went full-time in the business of decorating homes with Macrame, but on a small scale.
